(Clinical Psychologist)

Kia ora, I’m Alyshia, a Registered Clinical Psychologist in Ōtautahi/Christchurch, Aotearoa/New Zealand. While I work with a range of mental health concerns, I have particular interest and experience supporting people through grief/loss, women’s health, maternal, paternal, and whānau/family adjustment to parenthood and mental health, birth trauma, pregnancy loss and termination for medical reasons (TFMR), and pregnancy after loss. I strive to provide a compassionate and safe space for people to find their footing and develop skills to build their resilience and navigate challenges. I have a relaxed and personable approach and work collaboratively to provide a therapeutic mode and style that best meets what people need in a given moment.

  • Registered Clinical Psychologist with the New Zealand Psychologists Board,

  • Full member of the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists (NZCCP),

  • Member of EMDRNZ,

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology (PGDipClinPsych; Distinction),

  • Master of Science (MSc; First Class Honours),

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc).
